Vital Signal — Methylene Blue Drops | 10 mg per 1 mL
Vital Signal — Methylene Blue Drops
10 mg Methylene Blue per 1 mL • Liquid Delivery • 60 mL
A minimalist liquid methylene blue formula for adults who understand the compound, understand the interaction profile, and want a precisely measured format without the usual biohacker mythology.
What Is Methylene Blue?
Methylene blue is not a trendy plant extract or another generic “focus ingredient.”
It is a biologically active compound with a long history in medicine and ongoing research involving redox biology, mitochondrial electron transfer, cellular metabolism, and neuroscience.
That makes it scientifically interesting.
It also means it deserves considerably more respect than the average wellness ingredient.
Mitochondrial Biology Is Interesting. That Does Not Make Every Biohacker Claim Proven.
Methylene blue has been investigated for effects on cellular redox processes, mitochondrial electron transport, memory, and brain function. Human research remains limited for routine wellness use, so we do not present Vital Signal as a proven treatment for cognitive decline, fatigue, depression, brain fog, or any disease.
Why a Liquid Drop Format?
Simple:
- easy to measure
- easy to incorporate into a routine
- no capsule shell
- no complicated multi-ingredient blend
- easy to see exactly what the formula contains
Each 1 mL serving — approximately 20 drops — provides 10 mg of methylene blue according to the product formulation.
Three Listed Ingredients. Nothing to Hide Behind.
Methylene Blue Powder — 10 mg per 1 mL serving
Water
Potassium Sorbate
What We Are Not Going to Tell You
We are not going to tell you that Vital Signal:
- “supercharges” your mitochondria
- guarantees sharper focus
- eliminates brain fog
- reverses cognitive decline
- treats depression
- prevents dementia
- turns you into a productivity machine
Those statements go beyond what a responsible reading of the evidence can support.
Interesting Is Enough. We Don't Need to Turn It Into Magic.
Methylene blue is pharmacologically interesting on its own. Good science does not need exaggerated promises attached to it.
Suggested Use
Adults: Shake well before use.
Take 1 mL (approximately 20 drops) once daily, directly or mixed into a beverage.
Do not exceed the labeled serving unless specifically directed by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional who has reviewed your medications and medical history.
Methylene Blue Is a Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor.
Methylene blue can inhibit monoamine oxidase A (MAO-A). FDA-approved methylene blue products carry serious warnings regarding serotonin syndrome when methylene blue is combined with serotonergic medications.
The exact risk from lower oral doses is not as well defined as the risk documented with medical intravenous use. That uncertainty is not permission to ignore the interaction.
Who Needs to Be Especially Careful?
Do not use Vital Signal without professional review if you take medications that increase serotonin or otherwise interact with monoamine oxidase.
This includes medications such as:
- SSRIs
- SNRIs
- MAO inhibitors
- certain tricyclic antidepressants
- some serotonergic pain medications
- dextromethorphan-containing products
- other serotonergic prescription or OTC medications
Medication interaction screening matters more here than it does for most ordinary supplements.
Taking an Antidepressant? Read This First.
Methylene blue + serotonergic medication is one interaction where “it's only a supplement” is the wrong mindset.
Read: Methylene Blue + SSRIs & Serotonin Syndrome →What About G6PD Deficiency?
This is another serious safety issue.
FDA-approved methylene blue labeling contraindicates medical methylene blue in people with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase — G6PD — deficiency because severe hemolysis and hemolytic anemia can occur.
Don't Know Your G6PD Status?
Anyone with known or suspected G6PD deficiency should avoid self-directed methylene blue use and discuss the issue with an appropriate healthcare professional.
Additional Safety Considerations
Do not use without appropriate professional guidance if you:
- are pregnant or breastfeeding
- are under 18
- have known G6PD deficiency
- take serotonergic medication
- have significant kidney or liver disease
- have a complex medication regimen
- are preparing for surgery or a medical procedure
Yes — It Is Very Blue.
The color is not branding.
Methylene blue is literally a blue dye.
It may temporarily discolor:
- the tongue or mouth
- urine
- stool
- surfaces, countertops, fabric, and clothing
Treat the Dropper Like It Wants to Stain Something.
Use carefully around clothing, furniture, grout, and porous surfaces.
Who Is Vital Signal Actually For?
This is a more appropriate fit for adults who:
- are specifically interested in methylene blue
- understand that human wellness research remains developing
- want a simple liquid formulation
- have reviewed potential medication interactions
- prefer an evidence-conscious approach over exaggerated biohacking claims
Probably Not the Right Product If...
You simply want “more energy,” need a stimulant, are looking for a proven cognitive enhancer, want treatment for depression or dementia, or have not checked whether your medications interact with methylene blue.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much methylene blue is in one serving?
Each 1 mL serving — approximately 20 drops — contains 10 mg of methylene blue according to the product formulation.
Can I take more than one serving per day?
The labeled suggested use is one 1 mL serving daily. Do not increase the dose without appropriate professional guidance, particularly because methylene blue has clinically meaningful medication interactions.
Does methylene blue improve focus?
Methylene blue has been investigated in neuroscience and human cognitive research, but the evidence is not strong enough to guarantee improved focus, alertness, memory, or mental performance in healthy adults.
Does methylene blue support mitochondria?
Methylene blue participates in redox chemistry and has been studied for effects involving mitochondrial electron transport. Mechanistic interest does not automatically translate into a proven wellness benefit at every dose or in every person.
Can methylene blue be taken with SSRIs?
This combination deserves serious caution. Methylene blue inhibits MAO-A and FDA has documented serotonin syndrome with methylene blue used alongside serotonergic medications. The exact risk from low-dose oral use is less well characterized, so anyone taking an SSRI, SNRI, MAOI, or other serotonergic medication should not self-combine the products without professional review.
Can people with G6PD deficiency use methylene blue?
FDA-approved methylene blue labeling contraindicates methylene blue in patients with G6PD deficiency because of the risk of severe hemolysis and hemolytic anemia. People with known or suspected G6PD deficiency should not self-administer methylene blue.
Will Vital Signal change urine color?
It can. Methylene blue is a dye, and temporary blue or blue-green discoloration of urine can occur.
Is Vital Signal pharmaceutical grade or USP grade?
ProofMode Labs does not make purity, pharmaceutical-grade, USP-grade, or independent-testing claims unless documentation for the specific ingredient and finished product supports those claims.
Do not use if you have known G6PD deficiency.
Do not combine casually with SSRIs, SNRIs, MAO inhibitors, or other serotonergic drugs.
Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding without appropriate medical guidance.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the safety seal is broken or missing. Store in a cool, dry place.
Respect the Molecule Before You Chase the Mechanism.
Understand the evidence. Check the medication list. Know the safety profile. Then decide whether Vital Signal actually belongs in your routine.
This product information is for educational purposes and is not medical advice. Methylene blue is pharmacologically active and can interact with prescription and over-the-counter medications. Individuals taking serotonergic medications, individuals with known or suspected G6PD deficiency, pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, children, and people with significant medical conditions should obtain appropriate medical guidance before considering use.
